Academic History

  • Psy.D. in Parapsychology from Rosebridge Graduate School of Integrative Studies and the American Schools of Professional Psychology (now Argosy University) in 1999. 

  • Certified Master Hypnotherapist from the Institute for Educational Therapy in 1996.

  • M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1980.

  • B.A. in Psychology (with a minor in Chemistry), Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1976.

  • Director of Education for the Department of Anesthesia and member of the Surgery Department faculty at Orlando Regional Medical Center from 1987 until 1989.

  • Ghost Stories, original air date June 25, 2010.  I was interviewed for the Travel Channel.

  • Ghost Lab, original air date October 20, 2009.  I was interviewed for the Discovery Channel.

  • Supernatural Investigator on VisionTV in Canada, original air date March 17, 2009. I appear uncredited as Lyn Buchanan's monitor during a CRV session.

  • Dead Famous: Rita Hayworth, original air date April 11th, 2006. I appear briefly as a parapsychologist on a show aired on Living TV.

  • Mediums: We See Dead People, original air date October 14, 2005. It was filmed in May 2005 and first aired on the A & E channel. I was interviewed as a parapsychologist.

  • CBS Evening Magazine, original air date February 16, 2005.  I was interviewed by a local CBS affiliate.

  • Dead Famous: Al Capone and the Mob (episode 1.1), original air date June 15, 2004.  I appeared as a parapsychologist on a show aired on Living TV that was filmed at Alcatraz.

This dissertation was an initial look at what the experience of performing psychokinesis was like for those that do it.
